Guidelines for Submitting Abstracts:
Important Information
- Abstracts are required for all papers and posters.
- Abstracts may only be submitted online. Abstracts submitted by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
- All abstracts should be submitted by 8 December 2024 at 23:59 CET.
Guidelines for Preparing Your Abstract:
1. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
2. A “blind" review process will be used. Therefore please do not include the authors or affiliations within your abstract document. The names of authors and their affiliations (institutions) will be submitted during the online submission process.
3. The abstract text may not be longer than 250 words.
4. It is mandatory to conform to this structure of the abstract:

5. Authors are requested to select a topic under which they wish their abstract to be reviewed:
Thyroid (Clinical or Basic)
Parathyroid (Clinical or Basic)
Adrenal (Clinical or Basic)
NET (Clinical or Basic)
6. All abstract authors are required to submit a statement of any potential conflicting interests as part of the abstract submission process. This statement will be printed in the abstract book as submitted, should be included on accepted posters and as a slide for accepted oral presenters. Provision of this declaration will be a condition of presenting at the event.
7. Best abstracts will be selected for BJS Prize session. Authors of abstracts selected for the BJS Prize competition must submit 2 months before the conference the full paper to BJS by a deadline that will be communicated after submission, pending the presentation of the abstract at the meeting. Non-submission to the BJS will be considered an abstract withdrawal.
Oral presentations not eligible for the BJS Prize session, will have the opportunity to be reviewed and published upon accpetance in UPIS (Updates in Surgery). Authors of abstracts selected for ORAL PRESENTATION must submit one month before the conference the full paper to UPIS.
8. Selected abstracts not participating in the BJS Prize session will be eligible for the Conference Best Oral and Best Poster Prizes competition.
9. Eurocrine Society Award: Highest ranking Eurocrine paper will receive a prize at the ceremony of the 10th Anniversary of Eurocrine, during ESES 2025.
10. The presenters who apply for video oral or video poster presentation will be asked to send their videos via file transfer software after acceptance. Five videos, which receive the highest scores, will be asked to be presented on the podium. One video presentation will be eligible for the Conference Best Video Prize. The rest will be presented in the special video-poster area. The duration and other details will be provided to you later.
11. Case reports will be accepted only as posters.
Important Notice
Since this is the conference and not the congress of ESES, due to narrow capacity, only a limited number of oral abstracts will be accepted to be presented on podium.
Amending a submission
You will be able to log in to amend your abstract up to the abstract submission deadline date of 8 December 2024 at 23:59 CET.
Withdrawing an abstract
If you want to withdraw an abstract please contact Miss Buse Cirit at busecirit@nlmice.com.
Abstract acceptance and presentation
1. Authors will be notified about the acceptance for presentation of the submitted abstract by the end of January 2025.
2. Abstracts will be accepted as either an oral presentation to the plenary audience or as a poster presentation.
3. The presenting author must register to attend the conference as a condition of acceptance.
