Kemeraltı & Smyrna's Agora
Kemeraltı is the old bazaar of Izmir. You may find many shops which sell local souvenirs, shoes, jewellery, clothing, copper items. If you get there, do not forget to drink Turkish coffee and see a fortune teller.
Smyrna's Agora, close to Kemeraltı, was founded in late 4th Century BC, immediately after the reign of Alexander the Great of Macedonia. Nestled in modern-day İzmir’s historic city center’s core, it is one of the largest agoras in the world that witnessed the Roman Empire.

You may walk from Kemeraltı to Alsancak where you may find many restaurants, bars, shops and places to listen to music.
You may also have a walk or grab a drink in Kordon near the sea.
